Our Dive Boats

Blue Water Diving Center is proud to say that we put at your disposal the best diving boats of the island!

Divers are not exposed to cold breeze, rain, splashes and sunburns or sunstroke!

For your satisfaction, divers do not have to remain all the time seated on the way to the dive sites and the boats run smoothly on the water.

For your comfort there are toilets and resting places on board.

For your safety, we are able to reach remote areas and stand heavy sea conditions with these boats

 

BLUE WATER DIVERS 3

Like the 4 other sister boats from this series Blue Water Divers, BWD 3 was designed and built by late- Roland De Spéville Senior.

BWD3 has been modified to fit with diving activities with an added extension for the diving platform; it measures now 15.50 metres

Toward the bow the boat has a cabin with two bunks, a toilet compartment and shelves where all safety and First Aid equipments are kept.

The main cockpit includes the wheel and a table for lunches or photographic equipment.(The diving centre does not take responsibility for any damages if photo equipment are kept in places where they can fall or be in the way of other divers.

There is a large space at the back with seats reserved for the divers with wet equipments. The tanks are just behind the seats so that divers can equip themselves being seated.

The diving platform has a ladder that allows access to the Sun-deck.

Water entries are made from the platform at the back of the boat. The platform is about a foot above the water line.

There is a French style ladder to come back on the boat after the dive. That French style ladders allows the diver to come fully equipped on board without removing the fins.

The boat capacity is registered for 26 passengers!

The jetty that leads to the boats

BWD3 is appointed to all regular dive operations in the vicinity of Trou aux Biches region.

BWD4 is mainly appointed for far trips and excursions

All excursions towards remote Northern Islands of Mauritius or Whale watching are done with this boat.
