Our Mission
At Blue Water Diving Centre, we insist on the following 2 points:

Introductory dives are performed directly in the sea following strict international rules of CMAS and PADI. Candidates to this amazing adventure Select their equipment wityh the help of our team at the diving centre and then, they would board one of our 45 feet cabin cruisers where they will receive a briefing on the way to the selected dive site on the boat by their personal instructor.
Discover Scuba experience is open to everyone in good health as from the age of 8 (maximal depth 2 meters) and as from 12 (maximal depth 6 meters). Minors need a written authorization from their parents or guardians.
At the Dive Centre
Our staff will welcome you and ask you to complete the Mauritian Scuba Diving Association's (MSDA) form which includes a medical survey and a third party liability insurance. (Be careful, do not start your SCUBA diving experience if you are not offered to fill and complete a MSDA form; this is your guarantee of safety about the dive centre and the instructors)
The instructors will then help you choose your diving equipment between the broad choice of high quality equipment at your disposal and as per availability. We are sorry if we cannot provide you with your size of equipment. We only have common standard sizes.
Once you are geared up, we shall move to the boat. Our comfortable DeSpeville 45 crafts have a sundecks, spacious cabins and toilets. We provide bottled water for free.
Your diving experience.
You will be briefed on the elementary use of SCUBA equipment and underwater breathing techniques; and be taught what to do and what to avoid.
You will be briefed on what you can expect to see so that you feel comfortable enough to enjoy evolving in a multidimensional environment with dozen of colourful creatures all around.
You then shall move to the back platform of the boat, where your designated instructor will be waiting for you at the surface, in the water. A gentle slide into the water and you will first adapt your breathing on the surface holding the hand of your personal Instructor. Then gently descend into this awesome experience!
Your Discover SCUBA diving experience will last about 30 minutes - 30 minutes of Happiness and Wonder! You will discover the sensation of total liberty, moving in 3 dimensions, surrounded by schools of fish.
After your dive, your personal Instructor will debrief you a on all what you have seen during this experience. Fish identification books are available at the centre for consultation and to help you widen your knowledge.

CMAS level 1 Diver or PADI Open Water Diver.
