Blue Water Diving Center offers PADI formations from Open Water Diver to Dive Master.
With Blue Water Diving Center your PADI practical course are made in a shallow lagoon and exceptionally, on demand, in swimming pool. it is very simple and "fun".
For your theoretical courses, we recommend you use PADI e-learning system. This will allow you to follow your courses before leaving home, save classroom time while on holidays, helps you concentrate better on your practicals and psychologically prepare yourself to your fabulous underwater adventure.

Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) is not mandatory, but we strongly advise it to beginner. This allows you to familiarize with the element and underwater breathing, to feel weightlessness to discover the richness of the underwater world and to have a idea of the extraordinary adventure you are about to begin!
Courses as from 12 years old.

Open Water Diver (OWD): This is the gateway to one of the greatest discovery adventure of all times - the exploration of our world last undiscovered frontier!
This Course lasts a minimum of 3 days, including 5 technical courses during which safety exercises and diving techniques are taught, followed by 4 qualifying dives in the open sea.
The formation is performed in 3 steps.

First, a practical course in confined water (shallow lagoon or swimming pool) with 5 sessions in 1-2 days.

Second (if the diver has not already taken the e-learning courses), theoretical lectures in the classroom orally or via media (PowerPoint, computer or Video)

Finally, 4 qualifying dives in Open water (in a 3 days session).

Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD): This level trains the diver to a higher level of technique.
It is actually the minimum level every diver should have to be able to join diving cruises. It allows the divers to dive autonomously with another buddy of the same level down to a maximal depth of 30 metres.
To complete the course, the diver must select 5 specialities, of which 2 mandatory: Underwater Navigation Diver (advanced instrumental navigation techniques) and Deep Diver (how to plan, organizes and deals with deep dive)
We offer the following 3 other specialities:

Naturalist Diver: learn about the protection of nature, how to collect data for surveys and how to observe sea creatures

Drift Diver: how to plan, organise and deal with running waters and current.

Wreck Diving: how to dive on a wreck and use the underwater safety system.

Emergency First response (EFR): this formation brings the student to a level of life saver. He/she can attend and assist anyone conscious or unconscious, by learning the CPR and first aid techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies. This course is fundamental and mandatory to access the next PADI level as Rescue Diver.

Rescue Diver (RD).
In order to access a full autonomy, every diver should know and master the good techniques that save lives. They will be taught how to assist a diver conscious or unconscious diver under and above water and to apply pure oxygen treatment on divers.

Dive Master (DM): your first step to the professional world of Scuba diving.
As Dive Master, the diver can be considered as professional and can be employed by a dive centre.
The Dive Master can assist the instructor and lead dives. He can help the instructor during formations
The formation takes place over 20 dives (minimum 10 days); the diver must have a minimum number of 40 dives before starting the Dive Master formation.
Be at least 18 years old, in possession of a valid EFR certificate and a valid medical certificate (less than 12 months old)
